A Chinese export lacquered sewing table, circa 1860, the rectangular table with finely rendered figurative scenes in gilt to exterior and interior surfaces, with lid opening to reveal a fitted interior with lidded compartments and including a selection of ivory reticulated sewing accessories all raised upon a twin legged stretcher base.
