A cloisonne vase, Meiji period circa 1890's signed in silver wire (ki) on base Hayashi Kihyoe baluster shaped and with a design of peonies and buds on a branch with leaves all in silver on a wireless royal blue ground, silver neck and foot rims. Height 18 cm. Note: the maker, Hayashi Kihyoe, was both brilliant and prolific in his output of lasting masterpieces of the late Meiji period.
