A fine quality Satsuma tea pot, Meiji period signed Hankinzando, Meiji period, late 19th century a flat shape teapot with fine painting in cartouche of aristocratic household practising tea amongst a body of chrysanthemum and peonies. Diameter 9.5 cm. Note fine detail to shoulder. Although rarely encountered, the work of Hankinzando is highly regarded and equivalent to masters like Yabu Meizan
