A Large Sumidagawa vase, decorated with a profusion of climbing monkeys against a background of hamlets in a mountain landscape. The neck and shoulders with rich waved glazed in black mauve and white, glazed acents to the the monkeys. Height 6o cm, width 46 cm (glazed signature Kosai).
