Mid-19th century French ormolu mantel clock, the waisted gilt ormolu case with ornate surmount. Cherub decoration to the front of case. Clock sitting on a gilded plinth with scrolling acanthus feet, the 9 cm 13-piece brass and enamelled dial with Roman numerals with blue steel hands to the twin barrelled movement, silk suspension striking on a bell. Height 35 cm
