A Rare 19th century French Ormolu and Champleve Enamel Mantel Clock, the gilt ormolu case surmounted by an enamelled urn with foliate swags, enamelled column supporting beveled glass on a shaped ormolu and enamelled base with gilt ormolu feet. The 10 cm dial with enamelled bezel and centre, Arabic numerals with blue steel hands. The twin barrelled movement with Brocot escapement, enamelled twin bar mercury pendulum striking on a coiled gong. Height 42 cm
