Fine Tibetan Gau, a copper and brass circular lidded box, entirely embossed with fine floral and geometric motifs. The top is inlaid with six pieces of circular turquoise inset into florets and a diety playing an instrument is raised from the middle. Various items are held inside: beads, cloth, paper, leather and a ritual bone. An early patina. 18th century. Depth 13 cm
