Description:
Zulu snuff container, made of wood, the ovoid body is constructed from two hollowed pieces secured with wooded pegs. It has fine linear carving all over and a small delicate handle to one side. In fine condition with rich dark brown patina. This container dates from the Zulu Wars period, circa 1879. Height 18 cm width 4 cm
