Fine Dogon statue, seated on a stool with fragmentary legs supporting an elongated torso with triple-lined triangular motif, raised tubular navel and conical breasts; rounded shoulders holding elongated, slightly bent arms with hands resting upon knees, the extended cylindrical neck supports an oblong head with a squared chin, raised beard and small, raised, circular mouth. A braided coiffure with cross-hatched motif and raised shaped ears to back of head. An all-over rich, dark-brown, weathered patina. Height 65 cm. Width 13 cm
