A famille rose patterned ormolu mounted vase and cover, 19th century, possibly French, of ovoid form, the sides decorated in the Chinese style and 'Famille-rose' palette, with a frieze of pairs of boys either side of lanterns with ribbon lotus blooms pendent from bats, all between floral borders around the base and shoulders, ormolu mounts forming the base, neck and knop of domed cover42 cm high
