A French 18th century transitional ormolu-mounted kingwood, tulipwood and marquetry breakfront petite commode, by Fidelys Schey, Paris,the stepped marble top with rounded corners, above two drawers decorated sans traverses with an inlay of flowers, with simulated fluted angles headed by a cast mount, on cabriole legs and scrolling acanthus sabots, stamped under the marble Schey. Width 80 cm. Depth 44 cm. Height 81 cm .
