A French 19th century Empire ormolu-mounted mahogany secretaire a abattant, the rectangular Bleu Turquin marble top above a frieze drawer, the fall-front inset with a brown leather writing surface, the arched interior fitted with six drawers, above a pair of cupboard doors enclosing a coffre-fort, flanked to each side by a tapering pilaster each surmounted by a female herm bust, on square stepped feet.
