A French 19th century gilt-bronze and white marble portico clock, the white enamel dial inscribed Ouafse a Paris, surmounted by a flowering basket, issuing foliate garlands, flanked to each side by a griffon, on square pedestals each with classical female figure holding fruit-filled baskets aloft, on a rectangular stepped base cast with palmettes, on small bun feet, the pendulum cast with a sun-burst centred by a mask. Width 34.5 cm. Depth 11 cm. Height 54.5 cm .
