Bruce French's 1988 Bicentennial test cap, white wool, embroidered Australian Bicentennial logo and 'Bicentennial test/ Sydney 1988' on front, Albion C&D label signed 'Bruce French', plus small signed note. Extremely rare, identical caps were awarded to the England and Australian players who participated in the Bicentennial test, which was played at the Sydney Cricket Ground on the Australia day weekend, 1988, the only other examples we know to have come onto the market are Geoff Marsh's and Tim Robinson's caps, which were both sold by Leski Auctions. (Bruce French played 16 Tests for England 1985-88)
