An inlaid bronze vase by Ohashi, Meiji period, the ovoid body decorated in relief and inlaid in gold with chickens and chicks beside flowering chrysanthemum extending over the sides, below two ho-o birds in flight beneath the flared mouth, fitted for electricity, one side pierced above the base for wiring, signed Dainippon Toyama Kenku Ohashi Sanzaemon Yoshimasa. Height 36 cm
