After Govert Flinck, Netherlandish, 1615-1660, Isaac Blessing Jacob, oil on canvas; 141 x 116 cm. The present work is a fine, full size copy of Flinck's Old Testament narrative masterpiece of 1639. The original is held by the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam; this version is an artist's or student's transcription, and probably dates from the 19th century.
