A Sukhothai deep dish, 14th/15th century, the interior of the flared sides painted in iron-black with a freely drawn fish in a central medallion within concentric line borders, 28.5 cm. Provenance: Victor Shaw Ltd., Hong Kong, 1976 together with description signed by Adrian Joseph; Private collection, Melbourne. Compare with a dish illustrated in Bluett & Sons Ltd.
