A gilt bronze figure of sakyamuni buddha, seated in dhyanasana on a waisted pedestal encircled by lotus petals, the hands joined in vitarka mudra, draped in a loose robe falling across one arm and around the shoulders leaving the chest bare, the borders incised with floral scrolls, the serene face with urna and tightly curled hair piling high over a domed ushnisha below a spherical cintamani 'Jewel' finial, 41 cm
