An amber carving, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, depicting Shou Lao seated on a rocky ledge accompanied by a boy attendant standing holding his staff, and with a deer nearby, a monkey offering up a peach on a ledge below, the reverse of the open rockwork with a crane perched beside a gnarled pine tree, 17 cm.
