Arthur Waagen, French (act.1869 - 1910), Kabyle Au Retour De La Chasse, bronze, dark brown patina, ebonised oval wooden plinth, signed 'Waagen. sculpr' to the base and stamped with Martin foundry 'cachet', 122 cm high including the base. ‘Kabyle au Retour De la Chasse’ is his most famous work. He also created smaller groups of greyhounds, one playing with a Persian cat, another playing with a King Charles Spaniel.
