Magic poster, 'The Sensational Murray, Australian Escapologist', artwork by R.C, waterman, signed by Murray, printed by the perfecta Press London, colour lithograph, overall 51 x 76 cm. Murray Carrington Walters was born at Brighton, Victoria, November 11 1901. While in England he took up escape work and returned to Australia during 1928 and the press acclaimed him as 'Greater Than Houdini'
