George V Naval Officer's Dress Sword by Henry Wilkinson, London engraved double-fullered single- edged blade, brass basket with naval insignia and folding shell, wire bound shagreen grip, brass lion's head pommel and original thread tassel, brass and leather scabbard and leather outer case, belonging to Frederick Keith Baxter Ranr, blade 80 cm, overall 96 cm. Together with his bicorn Naval Officer's hat and epaulettes contained in their original japanned tin trunk by Gieves of London and three dress belts, the sword belt labelled Wilkinsons, Pall Mall. Baxter rose from Sub-Lieutenant in 1922 through the ranks to Commander in 1938
