A fine French kingwood and ormolu bracket clock with console, of rococo form, profusely decorated with open cast foliate and scroll ormolu mounts surmounted by a detachable classical crest, the waisted case with glazed door mounted with an urn on scroll feet, supported on the original wall bracket, the 10.5 inch chased dial with applied enamel cartouche numerals and pierced hands, the double train movement striking hourly and half-hourly, backplate signed 'Roux a Paris', Clock 46 cm wide, 20 cm deep, 95 cm high; Console 46 cm wide, 28 cm deep, 37 cm high
