The left hand margin lists the days of the month and the upper margin lists supplies acquired under the headings: Meat; Poultry; Eggs; Milk; Fruit; Vegetables & Fish. The lower margin is a summary of the monthly total of items acquired and consumed at Longwood House. For example, Mutton was a daily part of the menu with a sheep a day being consumed totaling 31 for the month. Fowls were plentiful with 9 a day being consumed, totaling 279 for the month.
