The Eileen & Raymond Machin Crown Lynn collection. Eileen was a craftswoman/artist at Crown Lynn through the 1950's/60's, her husband Raymond was by 1962 the manager of the mould-making factory at Crown Lynn. The collection includes a Beswick large bowl gifted to the Machin's by Tom Clark 1959, a handcrafted baluster vase finely decorated with repeating florals in tones of blue, brown, purple and black with silver trim, another 'Hand Crafted' vase of wide baluster form with bands of patchwork design in pale tones, another 'Hand Crafted' vase of tall flared form painted with repeating leaves and with two raised bands, an off-white pottery Crown Lynn Swan of large size, a Crown Lynn 'Hand Painted' bowl dated 1989, a Crown Lynn Service 20 Club' plate dedicated to Ray and printed in gold with many signatures and years of service 'Ray Machin 30 years' and a two-handled chamber pot hand decorated and inscribed to the Machin's 'To Commemorate 10 Years Of Married Bliss 1962', complete with assorted 'New Zealand ceramics', 'Ceramco' magazines etc
