A fine mid 19th century French rosewood bibliotheque, the moulded cornice with canted corners and central crest with an elderly man's portrait within a cartouche flanked by cherubs holding a garland of flowers above a large glazed door enclosing four adjustable later glass shelves and flanked by fluted pilasters each with carved eagles with snakes, above a long drawer with slide, raised on a plinth base, the sides with raised panels and central cartouche.
