NZ flimsy: 'Kaitangata Coal Co. Ltd. Proprietors of Kaitangata Coal and Kaitangata Railway. Kaitangata to Stirling. 6d. No.16042', 65 x 31 mm. Extremely rare! Very good condition. (The Kaitangata operated a mine and a 5.95km railway on the South Is. of New Zealand from 1876 to 1970. The railway connected with the Main South line at Stirling. A passenger service operated until 1937. Originally operated by Nzr, the company took over services in the 1880s and this ticket is from this latter period.)
