The Ann Bernard Archive: an assemblage of papers relating to the life of Ann Bernard, first female barrister-at-law in Australia, includes her marriage certificate to Lionel Claude du Combert Bernard in 1923 Fiji, a letter from the high court of Australia registering her as the first female practitioner of law in 1942, and 7 photographs of her as a lawyer, with Smithy in 1928, her husband in World War I; and a 1949 calendar commemorating the 20th anniversary of Smithy's 1928 flight. Also ten 1936 Fiji pennies (Ef condition) and a Suva yacht club badge. About 40 pieces. (c50)
