Neil Harvey's Australian 'Baggy Green' test cap, from the 1954-55 Ashes series, green wool, embroidered coat-of-arms & '1954-55' on front, Farmers/Sydney label inside endorsed 'N.Harvey'. Poor condition with several moth holes, the cap shows evidence of being demolished by English fast bowler Frank 'Typhoon' Tyson - who broke the Bakelite peak of this cap during a torrid Sydney test where he captured 4/54 & 6/85. (Neil Harvey played 79 Tests 1947-63, including one as Australian Captain. One of the Invincibles, his cricket seemed to capture an image of Australian cricket as youthfully daring and physically exciting)
