A French Empire gilt and patinated bronze gueridon, the rose breche marble slab with engine turned gallery on a plain column and tripod support formed from cloven hoof legs mounted with ormolu anthemion motifs and centred by a pendant pineapple finial, the concave triform base raised on a later plum pudding mahogany plinth. Diameter 92 cm. Height 75 cm
