An important and rare early 19th century Russian ormolu forty-two light chandelier, the corona cast with sprays of roses, the frame suspended from chains and supporting groups of three lights, the inner group mounted directly on the frame alternating with urns of flowers, the remaining lights issuing from a berried leaf frame with scrolled arms, the bowl formed from wreaths of flowers issuing from cornucopia, the centre of the chandelier mounted with a figure of mercury on a globe, 137 cm drop.
