A large Japanese Imari porcelain charger 19th century, the shallow dish decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and polychrome enamels and gilt with spiral panels of Chinese boys, birds and foliate decorate around a central roundel of floral scroll banded by geometric floral patterns, traces of gilding around the rim, underside with floral sprays and concentric rings around the ring foot, fuku (happiness) mark.
