A large Japanese Imari porcelain charger, late 19th century, set on a ring foot and decorated in underglaze blue and red iron oxide and gilt over a clear glaze with a central roundel of a flower stand, the surrounding area with shaped reserves of birds and flowers, dragons and geometric lozenges, underside with floral sprays and a kiln mark.
