A Louis XVI ormolu mounted Paris Porcelain obelisk mantel clock, surmounted by an ormolu torch and laurel wreath with bow and quiver of arrows above a white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals flanked by lion mask handles and supported by white porcelain obelisks each surmounted by doves on orbs and painted with ribbon-tied trophies of war including quivers of arrows, spears, shields, axes and clubs, above four figures emblematic of the Continents and flanked at the base by bollards linked by chains, on a shaped black marble base raised on six gilt metal toupie feet, the quarter striking movement with circular plates with flattened base, the verge escapement with hourly rack strike and quarterly count wheel strike on a bell.
