A Japanese parcel-gilt bronze model of an archer, by Kiyoshi, late 19th century, cast and cold-chiselled and patinated in two shades of brown and gilt highlights as a kneeling archer in court costume and cap, his sleeves rolled up and robes tucked into his sash as he draws the bow to release an arrow (now missing), signed in a gold reserve Kiyoshi saku. Height 39.5 cm
