A good early 20th century French cut brass and tortoiseshell mantel clock, the movement by Samuel Marti, Paris surmounted by an elaborate pierced mount over well shaped sides and applied to the corners with further mounts and inlaid with symmetrical patterns to the front and both sides, set on scroll feet, the cream enamel dial with black Roman and Arabic numerals and fancy pierced hands, the circular twin barrel movement with anchor escapement striking on a gong.
