An important late George II giltwood mirror in the manner of Thomas Chippendale the crest formed from an elaborate composition of foliate and c-scrolls with rocaille work, the two plates divided by a band of floral chains interweaving with scrollwork, the sides with pillars flanked by openwork of floral garlands and scrolls, the apron similarly carved.
