A fine George III satinwood and purpleheart banded secretaire bookcase in the manner of Gillows the upper section with arched cornice surmounted by five urn finials on pedestals with inlaid flutes, the arched and rectilinear astragal glazed doors enclosing shelves, the lower section with a band of inlaid flutes and pater' above a secretaire enclosing an arrangement of drawers and pigeonholes, three further long drawers below, on outswept bracket feet.
