An unusual Australian silver inkwell, modelled as a ringtail possum climbing a gum tree branch, with two lidded inkwell reserves and a removable branch for a pen holder, raised on an ebonised oval base with an emu and kangaroo and a map of Australia engraved 'To Mr & Mrs Ed Clark on the occasion of their silver wedding June 3rd 1927'. Height 26 cm. Diameter 32 cm.
