A pair of George III silver-gilt Egyptian revival sauce-boats, by Daniel Smith & Robert Sharp, London 1806, each raised on round foot rising to fluting to the lower body and a band of stylised Greek key decoration between beading, lip chased with anthemion foliage, ringed looped handle with classical Egyptian bust terminal and leaf capping, engraved with the Royal Crown and crest. Height 13 cm, weight 21oz, weight 700gms.
