A fine early 19th century satinwood bracket clock of small size and with enamel dial, Grant, Fleet Street, London, number 318, surmounted by an urn over a concave moulded caddy, the sides set with carved volutes with applied flowerheads on an ebonised breakfront base, the signed 4 inch Arabic dial with brass spade hands, the movement with arched plates and signed in a well engraved cartouche of flowers held aloft by a ribbon, with twin chain fusees to the anchor escapement striking on a bell mounted to the front panel of the case below the movement, further set with a rise and fall regulation dial on the backplate.
