Fine European silver mounted rock crystal seal of faceted vase form, with a waisted spreading foot, engraved on the base (in reverse) with a coronet above the motto 'Ab Astra', the lower body engraved 'Lei', the mounting consisting of two portrait miniatures surrounded by husk borders, surmounted by ribbon trefoils and connected by matching swags, the top of the seal with a ring connecting the trefoils and supporting an oval plate on which from scrolls supporting a female bust
