A pair of early George III cast candlesticks, the shaped circular bases with six shell motifs, a ribbed and fluted central section rising to a flange, above which a moulded section with foliate capped shoulders, spoon shaped sockets with gadroon borders, with two removable nozzles, circular shaped with shells, matching the base, engraved on the nozzles and base with a winged coronet crest, maker's mark and lion passant only to nozzles, William Cafe, London 1761, 1578gms.
