Pair of Carron Foundry Cast Iron Garden Seats, 1842, having foliate scrolling crested backs pierced with conjoined hoops, the seats pierced with arabesques and stylised foliage, the sides with rococo 'C' scrolls, supported on cabriole front legs with a foliate apron and ring turned back legs. With original signed drawing for the seat registered and patented design number 34358 at the Public Records Office on the 16th March 1846., length 107 cm, depth 44 cm, height 88.5 cm
