A Capodimonte porcelain ewer, the body of campana form richly decorated with a relief moulded frieze showing frolicking putti, beneath a foliate moulded spout flanked by a figural loop handle, underglaze blue Crown of Naples mark to base. Height 41 cm. Provenance: Leonard Joel, Normanhurst - Estate of the late Henry F. Young, 19th November 1929, lot 270 1929-1961 - collection of the late Charles Titchener then by family descent.
