Barouche, English, circa 1860, this stylish Barouche is a fine example of one of the most fashionable town vehicles of the mid 19th century, capable of being driven with a smaller pair of horses but able to accommodate a liveried coachman and groom and two or four passengers. Such an equipage required the highest quality of finish to every detail and all barouches were beautifully crafted and exceptionally well made and finished.
