A rare Tasmanian cedar serving table, attributed to Whiteside, cabinet maker from Perth, Tasmania, circa 1830, the rectangular top with stepped protruding edge above a pair of double ogee decorated frieze drawers, one fitted for cutlery, supported on a pair of magnificent S-scroll legs with acanthus leaf carved decoration to the knees and feet, the back legs of turned tapering form with inverted tulip decoration;.
