An Australian cedar chest of drawers, Tasmanian, circa 1835, the rectangular top above four short drawers and three long drawers, flanked by full fluted half columns surmounted by roundels, above a knulled border, raised on turned feet;. Width 115 cm. Depth 52 cm. Height 131 cm note, the use of four short drawers and the height of this chest would suggest the cabinet maker was of Scottish background.
