An Australian cedar four poster bed, the scalloped edge tester above a pair of early 19th century end posts with lotus leaf decoration and ring turning, plain top posts and a wonderfully carved contemporary head board with sunburst and scrolled decoration;. Width 226 cm. Depth 193 cm. Height 239 cm note This bed is larger than King size and has a full cedar framework beneath, the posts are period and the pelmet and head board are later additions
