A C1800 Chinese export Bough pot, rose medallion fine enamelled decoration, the panels with figures, some on horseback and birds and blossoms framed by a floral and butterfly decorated border, richly gilded, the body of flared square section on splayed foot with shell fluted cupped handles, the original square top with matching decoration, the top rim with flake chip to one corner.
